Elliott Bay Seawall

The Elliott Bay Seawall project focused on constructing a replacement seawall to protect the City’s critical infrastructure and utilities against storm damage and shoreline erosion and enhancing the habitat throughout the area.

The project consists of constructing a new earthquake-resistant system that will support the street and right-of-way, provide access to the waterfront piers, improve marine habitat, and support upland uses. The successful completion of this project will form the foundation upon which the upland improvements in the Waterfront Program will rest.

1 Alliance has provided the survey work for this project, including engineering design mapping, 3D modeling (BIM), construction layout, 3D laser scanning, as-builts, utility mapping, and extensive settlement monitoring programs. The survey team also supervised the geotechnical instrumentation and inspection services.
