100th Avenue NE Corridor Improvements
As one of the busiest arterials in the City of Kirkland, the project designed improvements on 100th Avenue Northeast Corridor between Northeast 132nd and Northeast 145th streets to address issues on this busy corridor such as lack of sidewalks and bicycle lanes, excessive congestion, and inefficient intersections.
1 Alliance was contracted as sub-consultant to prepare a topographic and right-of-way base map for engineering design through Plans, Specifications and Estimates for this corridor improvement project. Survey work included research and data compilation, survey geodetic and cadastral control, field surveying and mapping, right-of-way, legal descriptions, and exhibits.
The project will improve the 100th Avenue NE corridor between NE 132nd Street and NE 145th Street and will enhance the newly-annexed Finn Hill and Juanita neighborhoods with a safe, operationally-efficient, environmentally-sound, bike-friendly, and pedestrian-enhanced route.
