SR 167 Southbound HOT Lane
The project widened SR 167 to add a lane in the southbound direction and constructed a new flyover ramp connecting the High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes system to the carpool lanes on I-405, providing an extension of the HOV/HOT lane for approximately eight (8) miles.
1 Alliance provided engineering design base mapping and construction survey services for this WSDOT Design-Build project. Typical survey services included survey control, monument destruction records, construction staking, settlement monitoring, and base map generation. Additionally, the survey team collected mobile laser scan data to update the electronic topographic base map and DTM surface models that were developed by WSDOT and provided to the proposing teams during the scoping phase of the project.
The construction of the ramp will provide congestion relief resulting in improved traffic flow and safety at this critical interchange.
